Application Explore – Academic Orientation Program for Refugees at UZH

We are delighted by your interest in our program and look forward to your application for Explore. 
Please note the following points when completing the online application form:

1. Before applying, please ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements.
2. You must complete the application form in three steps. In the first step, you enter your personal information. The second step requires you to provide details of your case manager and the billing address for the program fees. In the third step, you must upload all required documents.
3. Please note that there is no "Submit," "Next," or "Send" button on the upload page. You simply need to upload the corresponding documents marked with an asterisk (*). You will receive a confirmation email after each step of the application form. You can pause your application at any time and continue later.
4. Applications that are incomplete by the end of the application period will not be processed.
5. If you complete the application form correctly and upload all required documents, but do not receive the confirmation email, or if you have any other questions regarding your application, please contact welcome@globalaffairs.uzh.ch or +41 44 634 65 12.

Please make sure that you have at least the following documents ready:

• Copy of your residence permit N, F, S, or B (refugee)
• Copies of your educational qualifications: 

  • Copy of your high school diploma (Matura), including a list of subjects from the last three years of schooling – if your highest academic qualification is a high school diploma

  • Copy of your bachelor's degree, including transcripts – if your highest academic qualification is a bachelor's degree or higher

• Proof of your German language skills (language certificate or course participation confirmation)
• Complete academic resume (CV)

• Copy of cost approval from your case manager (herunterladen (DOCX, 76 KB)) – correctly and fully completed, signed, and stamped
