You have the option to come to UZH as either a regular visiting student or an invited visiting student. Regular visiting students follow course work during the set semester dates while invited visiting students pursue a project (e.g. research, writing a thesis).
You are eligible as a visiting student if you are enrolled at a recognized foreign higher education institution and only study or pursue a project at UZH for a certain duration. In order to be admitted as a visiting student you need to be enrolled at your home university during the whole duration of your stay at UZH and cannot acquire a UZH degree. There is no general right to be granted admission.
