Universitas 21 is a global network of 25 research-intensive universities. The network delivers a range of internationally focussed opportunities which enhance student engagement, mobility and employability and help prepare students for life and work across international borders and cultural boundaries.

| U21 Sustainable Micro-internships | Each two-week course has a distinct Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) focus. You will be tasked with providing a solution to a real-life SDG-related challenge, which you will then pitch to senior stakeholders within an organisation at the end of the programme. | TBD |
At the end of this experience I can only say that it has been very helpful and rich in new perspectives. The main points for which I would use in my future career from this program and which therefore impressed me most are two: listening to different opinions due to the great diversity of participants, working under unfavorable conditions for example different time-zones.
The diversity among the participants surprisingly allowed me to learn that there are indeed many points of view and that it depends strongly on where one resides. This also leads to each one of us prioritizing differently and thus coming to different conclusions that are not wrong, but simply fit our own way of thinking and needs. I think diversity enriches in a special way and in the future I would really like to keep myself open to listening and considering different thoughts.
Although the organization and classes were impeccable, working with so many people from different countries and different time-zones was challenging. This factor greatly reduces the time available to exchange ideas with the group. Also, since everyone has many commitments it is really difficult to work as a group. However, this taught me that even so it is possible to work well and in a short time.
