In Europe (Erasmus+/SEMP Agreements)
Inter-institutional Agreements are concluded with universities in Erasmus Programme Countries within the framework of the Erasmus Programme, or rather, the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP). These exchange agreements are standardized and may be concluded for a maximum validity-period of seven years (in accordance with the Erasmus+ Programme generation).
Responsibilities
Erasmus+/SEMP Agreements are normally subject-specific and are initiated by lecturers or departmental coordinators. They establish contact with the desired partner university and negotiate the terms and conditions of the agreement, as well as the number of exchange spots and the level of study. In the following, GSE undertakes the conclusion of the agreement. Before the start of a new Erasmus+ Programme generation, GSE contacts the departmental coordinators to clarify whether agreements should be renewed.
